Barb and family, We are so sorry for your loss. Dave was a great guy. He was the first neighbor we met here at Bridgewater. He was like the "spokesperson" for Walloon Way. Dave knew everybody. Sheri, I am so sad today to hear about your dad's passing. There is no doubt in my mind he is watching over you and your mom, proud to have you as his daughter, and has made such a positive impact on the lives of so many others. I will continue to send my thoughts and prayers of peace and comfort to you and your family. Elissa Lowry

I came to know Dave in my role with the Dept. of Veterans Affairs and quickly saw him as a solid and good man, an honorable veteran who served his country with great courage and a person you felt you could count on. I know that at this time it is difficult for family and close friends to hear what others say at the passing of one so loved. I ask your indulgence. The night following his death I awoke thinking about David and began to pray . At first my heart was heavy but soon there was a calm and uncommon sense of peace. The experience confirmed that your loved one and our brother veteran is living in the place our God prepared for him in eternal glory. I hope this doesn't sound like a platitude because it is very real to me and comes from the heart. Paul Paul Esser
