He enjoyed horses, riding in rodeos, and his beloved dog Bo BoLester was a humble man with an impeccable work ethic. He was always a quiet man who loved the Lord and his girls fiercely; he was their hero and protector.Anyone who knew him would not expect him to say goodbye, but rather, he would say, “Cherrio!” or “Toodle Doo” and “Don’t take any wooden nickels”

  • I'm so sorry for your loss ❤️ uncle Lester was my favorite uncle he was always there for our family he was always a busy man but took time out to help my mother and us kids he was a giver and loved the Lord no words can express the love he had for all I'll never forget him love you uncle Lester ❤️ Paula Cartwright
  • As a child, I recall the many times my Uncle Lester stopped by our home to check-in with my Mother - a single-Mother raising nine children. Only my Uncle knows the motivation for these visits; however, based on his character, it was an act of love for those left behind from turmoil. Robert McKee simplifies the human condition in two words: pain and pleasure. When I returned to reside in Michigan, I had the pleasure of spending time with my Uncle at his home, and during the many times we shared lunch and dinner. He expressed the pain of not being able to drive and the great pleasure it brought him. In this life, we are fortunate to be blessed by the actions of others who so unconditionally sacrifice for the better of mankind - this was my Uncle. So very honored am I to have been a recipient; it is a pleasure to console my pain. Forever grateful am I to such a dear human who, so succinctly, whispered truth. John Fitzpatrick
