Hank Ma (Ma, Hin-Long) passed away on November 12th at 6:55 PM. He was born on January 30th 1958 in Taipei, Taiwan. He was 63 years old. His loving parents, Wen-toa Ma and Der-jen Chang Ma, and brother Sam are no longer with us and he is survived by his eldest siblings, Hudson, Jack, and Ben. Hank grew up in Taiwan and began his life in the US on March 6th 1986. He met his wife Lorraine Ma in 1989. They were married on July 7, 1989 and raised a family of four children: Asia, Hank Jr., Moriah and Ryelee Ma. Hank was and always will be the life of every party. He was generous, kind, loving, and passionate. He was connected to nature and was always up for adventure. Some of his many passions included hunting, fishing, and cooking food for everyone he loved. He lived a full life in which many people loved and adored him. He will be dearly missed, but he is still with us all in spirit. He lives on through his stories and the memories he shared with everyone he met. We rejoice that he is now in the loving hands of his lord and savior Jesus Christ.

My heart goes out to you, Lorraine, at this time of great loss for you, Asia, Hank Jr., Moriah and Ryelee, even as we recognize what Paul wrote of desiring "to be with Christ, which is far better." In this time of grief, I pray that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the Love of God the Father and the comfort of the Holy Spirit will give you peace. Frank Martin
