PIEPSNEY, Joseph C., age 62 of Estral Beach, August 04, 2015. Loving husband of Ruth Ann Piepsney, dearest father of Philip (Melissa Keehn) Piepsney and Alisha Ann Piepsney. Along with his immediate family, Joe is survived by his brothers, Walter (Lisa) Piepsney and James (Marie) Piepsney.
He was preceded in death and treasured the memories of his parents, John “Pops” and Mary Piepsney.
Joe graduated from Monroe Catholic Central in 1970, where he had an opportunity to play baseball and allow his natural gift for the sport to shine. He retired as a Skilled Trades Pipefitter at Chrysler's Trenton Engine Plant after 30 years of dutiful service.
Joe enjoyed fishing, golfing, and vacationing to tropical destinations with his family and friends. Most of all, he loved spending time with his beloved grandchildren, Kingston and Chloe Sterling, and Olivia and Sophia Piepsney.
Joe was a prankster, quick witted and sarcastic. Everyone who knew Joe aka "Catman" or "Jumbo", loved him dearly and admired his humorous observations and commentaries on daily life.
Joe had a passion for classic Rock & Roll, and played in a band in his younger years. In addition to his skills on the baseball diamond, Joe was also an enforcer on the Dino’s Championship hockey team in the early 70's.
Joe was kind hearted, generous, and a true original. He will be missed by all who knew him.
Dave and I were so saddened to hear of Joe's passing. I grew up with Joe and his two brothers. Even though he was a relative, I had the biggest crush on him. He was the coolest and most handsome, but most of all, he was so very sweet. May God be with Jimmy, Walter, Ruth Ann, his childen, and family at this time and always. May the memories of Joe in the days to come bring all of you comfort and peace. Our hearts are with you. Love, Dave & Pam Bruno (Duby)
Joe was a very good bud of mine and my next door neighbor. Me and Wally Gator were best buds for a few years. I was the same age and grade as Joe and I went to Jefferson while he went to Monroe Catholic Central. Those were the best years of my life. Joe was as cool as they come and always had my back. And he was a damn good guy to have your back! All I can say is fate did him wrong. Doug Day
