My heart breaks today with the loss of a friend I've known for many years. I remember when Steve started for MaClean Hunter and knew Steve would go far. My prayers are with his wife and family. Steve will be well missed as sell as Golf game. Darrell McNeill

Steve, thank you for being such a good friend and colleague and for your leadership in our industry and association. Your impact was felt far and wide throughout our country as you helped our colleagues do their best to serve others in their communities and to keep people connected. Thank you for always being there for us with solid advice, encouraging words, and a smile. It was a privilege and honor to know you and to serve with you. We will never forget you. Dear Sherry, please accept my dearest condolences for the lost of your husband - Ivan Ivan Sarafov

Steve, For all I learned from you about the business, for the team and the projects we built here, for taking a chance on me in 2008 when I got this job...I am forever in your debt. While we did not always have agreement, we always had respect. Thank you for all you taught me, and I wish you and yours the best. John Stambersky

My sympathies to all of Steve's family. Haven't seen Steve since our years together at Wayne Cable and Maclean Hunter, but Steve was as helpful, cheerful and good humored a colleague as anyone could ask for. He was a joy to be around, and I have great memories of many holiday parties, softball tournaments and just days working together, having Steve help establish live backfeeds on remotes. Ken Schramm
