There is something majestic about an antique horse-drawn coach convoying the deceased to the cemetery. Rain, snow, or shine, you can choose between a pair of white team or black team horses to drive the hearse. Some families even choose to walk behind the horse-drawn hearse through out the cemetery.
Our majestic black or white horses paired with a military-style caisson make for the perfect choice for honoring a veteran. This is the same style caisson as used at Arlington National Cemetery. It is a remarkable way to remember those who served our country.
Michigan Memorial Funeral Home offers a service for motorcycle enthusiasts or people looking for a unique way to be sent off on their final journey. The Motorcycle Hearse is a customized, 2012 Harley Davidson Road King with a custom made casket coach. It is a tribute that will be remembered and cherished for years to come. We recommend going for a ride, maybe to a favorite place or to pass by a sentimental spot of the deceased or their loved ones.

A Sunset Service is staged at the Michigan Memorial Park location of your choice. Most commonly requested for Traditional Funerals with Burial and for Traditional Funerals with Cremation, a Sunset Service is truly a unique, one-of-a-kind experience for your family. The Sunset Service experience begins after 5:00 pm.
Since 2005, Michigan Memorial Park continues to be one of the only cemeteries in the country to offer Sunday and Holiday Services. For many reasons, a Sunday can often be a desired day to hold a service. It can be a relaxing day for families to gather and celebrate the life of their loved ones. For those previously cremated, a holiday can also serve as a special day for burial. Christmas is the only holiday that we cannot accommodate.
