Hoffman and step-father of Stefanie Apperson, Steven Apperson, Lisa (Daniel) Soule and Michael Apperson. Dear grandfather of Halie, Sammy, Jaden, Miracle, Hayden, Rylie (Brutus) and Catelyn (Bubbles). Dearest son of Laverne Hoffman and brother of Gary Hoffman, Connie (Jeff) Pelow, Denise (Sam) Harkness, Dianna (the late Bill) Miracle and Richard (Jeannie) Hoffman. He is preceded in death by his father Merlin Frederick, his adopted father Stephan Hoffman, his grandparents Verona and Richard Price and Patricia Amato and his uncles Donald Coates and Bobby Frederick. Alan was a member of Bethany Baptist Church, Monroe.
