Chance Perdomo, star of "Gen V" and "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina," has died at the age of 27

Chance Perdomo, who starred in the TV series "GenB" and "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina", was killed in a motorcycle accident. He was 27 years old.

Perdomo's publicist confirmed the British-American actor's death on Saturday in a statement, "It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Chance Perdomo's untimely passing in a motorcycle accident. His passion for art and unquenchable appetite for life was felt by all who knew him, and his warmth will be preserved in those he loved most. We ask that you respect the family's wishes for privacy as they mourn the loss of their beloved son and brother".

We are awaiting a response from Perdomo's publicist regarding the location of his death. Los Angeles Police Department officials could not confirm that Perdomo's death occurred in Los Angeles. The Los Angeles coroner's office did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Perdomo is known for his roles as Ambrose Spellman in the Netflix series "The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina" and Andre Anderson in the "Boys" spin-off series "Gen V".

"We can't get over it. For those of us who knew him and worked with him, Chance was always charming and smiling, enthusiastic, an incredibly talented performer, and most importantly, just a very kind and sweet person", the Gen V producers said in a joint statement. "It doesn't even make sense to write about him in the past tense. Our condolences to Chance's family and we mourn the loss of our friend and colleague. Please hug your loved ones tonight".

Perdomo was born on October 19, 1996, in Los Angeles, California. As a child, he moved with his mother to Southampton in Hampshire, England, where he attended Redbridge Community School before attending Peter Symonds College in Winchester. Perdomo intended to study law, but instead moved to London to pursue acting; he joined the National Youth Theater and trained at the Identity School of Acting.

Perdomo starred in several television shows and short films before being cast in a recurring role on the series The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, which also starred Kiernan Shipka, Ross Lynch, and Jazz Sinclair. He played Ambrose Spellman for four seasons from 2018 to 2020. Perdomo also played the role of Jerome Rogers in the 2018 TV movie Killed by Duty, which earned him a BAFTA nomination for Best Actor in a Leading Role.

In the Prime Video series Gen V, Perdomo played Andre Anderson, a Godolkin University student with magnetic manipulation abilities. Production of the second season was indefinitely postponed after Perdomo's death.

In film, Perdomo worked on the TV series "After" with Josephine Langford and Fiennes' character Tiffin. He played Landon Gibson in After We Fall (2021), After Everlasting Happiness (2022) and After Everything (2023).
