Michigan Memorial Funeral Home turns 25, and Michigan Memorial Park celebrates 100 years of service and remembrance!

 

Join us for a year filled with special events, tributes, and community gatherings as we honor our history and the families who have been part of it.

Power Walk for Polio!

Our Power Walk for Polio! Family Fun Halloween Walk! Sunday, October 25 1–3 pm at Michigan Memorial Park, New Boston. Cost is a monetary donation for polio eradication. Special thanks to Kelly Dwyer, Michigan Memorial for hosting and sponsoring this event. The flyer is attached. Please distribute it to your social media accounts, and send it out to all coworkers, friends and family. Let's make this a huge success.

The event will feature a 2 1/2 mile to 3-mile walk. We will have fun stations around the course with goodies and Halloween fun. We will also have the Purple Pinkie for Polio and sell our Lion's Game and Gear Raffle tickets. Costumes are optional. Riverview Rotary is also joining us as a sponsor of this event. 

We are pleased to announce that we have received donations for this event. Logan's Roadhouse is donating fresh baked chocolate chip cookies (individually wrapped), Apple Charlie's is donating apples and Michigan Memorial and Charlie Zammit are donating water. If you know anyone or business who would be willing to donate to this event, please pass along our flyer. We are in need of candy to distribute and other items that would be appropriate for this event. Michigan Memorial Park Walking Club

Please join the Michigan Memorial Park Walking Club.  There is no fee. The Walking Club is open to everyone, including Michigan Memorial employees, that are over 18 years of age. The Club is based on the honor system, and you must walk during the posted times that the Park is open. 

It's never too late to join! Please stop in the Family Service office for an application, map, and incentives. You can also print off and fill out the application ahead of time using download below.

Christmas Box Angel Vigil

Beginning at 7:00 PM on December 6th, there will be a Candlelight Vigil held at the Christmas Box Angel Statue in the Park in honor of all children loved, missed, and remembered. For Details call 734-215-9197
