Obituary

Arthur Alexander Adamisin Jr., a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and brother, passed away on February 7, 2026, in Wyandotte, Michigan. Born on September 23, 1948, in Detroit, Michigan, Arch lived a full life of 77 years, enriched by his passions and the love of his family.

Arch was a man of many interests, finding great joy in building, designing, and competing with model airplanes. His creative spirit extended into the realm of 3D printing, where he explored new possibilities and innovations. Music was another of Arch's loves, and he cherished moments spent watching his grandchildren play music, always their most enthusiastic supporter. He was also an ardent supporter of Detroit sports, always cheering for his hometown teams with enthusiasm.

Family was the cornerstone of Arch's life. He cherished spending time with his loved ones, especially his grandchildren, who brought him immense pride and happiness. Arch's legacy is carried on by his loving wife, Sally Adamisin, and his children: Archie (Teresa) Adamisin, Ami Lee, and Jeff (Liz) Adamisin. His memory will be cherished by his grandchildren: Taylor (Zoei), Brayden, A.J., Katy, Paige, and Jeffrey. Arch is also survived by his siblings Dennis, Alan, and Marie.

Preceding him in death were his beloved brother, David Adamisin, and his parents, Art and Betty Adamisin. Arch's warmth, creativity, and devotion to his family will be dearly missed by all who knew him. May his soul rest in peace.

Please feel free to donate to the Michigan Cancer Society or Henry Ford Hospice in memory of Arch.

  • I met Arch (and his father and brothers) in 1988, at Toledo RC, when I began dating Rick. It was immediately apparent then that Arch wasn’t just Rick’s friend, he was family. It has been my great pleasure to know Arch over all the years since that first meeting and enjoy his kindness, warmth and humor. Yes, he lived a full 77 years, but he’s still gone too soon. My deepest condolences to Sally and the rest of the Adamisin family. Kathy Sawicki
  • Rest in peace, we will miss you Jim Deutsch
  • So sorry for your loss. He must have been a wonderful man. Knowing his son, I know he raised great children. Fred Krause
  • Archie, I’ve said it before. I didn’t know your dad that well, only met and spoke with him a few times. But what little I did made me wish I could have spent more time with him. My deepest condolences to you and your family. Mike Smith
  • I extend my sincere condolences to the entire Adamisin family for your loss. Cherish the memories, and peace be with you ALL……..🙏🏻🇺🇸 Luis Hernandez
