Obituary

AKERS, Carol Ann, age 72, of Brownstown, September 16, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Akers. Loving mother of Keith Pelc, Donna (David) Perry, Shelly (Johnny) Hurd-Alexander, Billy (Faye) Akers, Jack (Jackie) Akers, and Brenda Akers. Loved and missed by 19 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her brother Jerry (Gail) Pelkey, and her sisters Jackie Allport (Denise) Canan, and Mary (Richard) Slawinski. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas Akers and Bill Carter, her daddy, Gerald and Hallie Pelkey, her father, Harold Hamm and brother and sister-in-law Wayne and Vicki Pelkey. “I’ve had a good life and had its trials. Happy Memories and Love to All; see you on the other side. All my Love, to the moon and back.” Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
