Obituary
Charlene "Cheri" Ann Anderson, born on November 6, 1949, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on February 9, 2026, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 76.
Charlene was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family. Her warmth and kindness touched the lives of all who knew her, and she will be deeply missed by her loved ones.
She is survived by her beloved husband, James Anderson, and her two sons, Nicholas James Anderson and Brian Michael Anderson. Charlene was a proud grandmother to James Nicholas Anderson, Michael Paul Anderson, and Matthew Thomas Anderson, who brought immense joy to her life, as well as her great-grandchildren Delaney Nicole Anderson and Winona Pauline Anderson.
Charlene is also survived by her siblings, Ted Burek and Debbie Hershey, who will remember her fondly. She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmond and Lorraine Burek, and her brother, Eddie Burek.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society in Charlene's memory. Her family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time.
