Obituary

Cynthia Marie Amore, 64, of Brownstown, Michigan, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2024. Born on May 10, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, Cynthia lived a vibrant life filled with love, adventure, and compassion.

Cynthia was a woman of immense strength and warmth, known for her loving and compassionate nature. Since 2006, she shared her life with the love of her life, Thomas Heincy. Their journey together began in the great outdoors, where they first met while camping—a pastime that remained dear to her heart throughout her life. Cynthia had a passion for the open road, often riding Harley-Davidsons with Thomas and the American Legion Riders.

Her love for water led her to cherish moments spent both on and in it, whether it was during travels to the Caribbean and Mexico or enjoying serene cruises. An avid traveler, she delighted in exploring new horizons with Thomas by her side and going to the sand bar. Cynthia also enjoyed the intrigue of crime television, particularly shows like "Law & Order," and relished the competitive spirit of watching "Survivor."

She had an ardent love for fashion, especially when it came to boots and shoes, always finding joy in adding to her collection.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her parents, Patrick and Janet Reginek, and her former husband, Kevin Amore. She leaves behind a legacy of love through her surviving family: her devoted husband, Thomas Heincy; her cherished children, Rachel Amore (Ryan Knell) and Melissa Amore; and her beloved grandson, Liam Knell. She also held a special place in her heart for her grandpuppy, Coco. Cynthia is also survived by her siblings, Michael (Tammy) Reginek, Cheryl Ashburn, Lisa Abell (Jim), Lynn Osaer (Mike), and Steven Reginek, who will all miss her dearly.

Cynthia will forever be remembered as the strongest woman ever, touching the lives of many with her enduring love and unyielding spirit. Her memory will live on in the hearts of those she loved and who loved her in return.
