Obituary

 

Deborah A. Aune, born on March 27, 1953, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on November 29, 2025, in Riverview, Michigan, at the age of 72.

Deborah was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is survived by her beloved husband, Ron Aune, with whom she shared 30 wonderful years, including 22 years of marriage. Together, they built a loving family and a life filled with cherished memories.

She leaves behind her children: Crystal Banks, Rebecca (Bill) Sarazin, Ron, Jr. (Marissa) Aune, Katie (Brian) Webb, and Paul (Melissa) Aune. Her legacy continues through her eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, who brought immense joy to her life. Deborah's heart was also warmed by her cherished companions, her yorkie, Bella, and her chihuahua, Meme.

Deborah was known for her warm and friendly nature. She had a gift for making those around her feel welcome and loved. In her younger years, she enjoyed bowling, a pastime that brought her much happiness and camaraderie. Throughout her life, she worked as a waitress, where her social and caring personality shone brightly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Eva Peacock; her brother, Robert, Jr.; her sister, Diane; and her beloved chihuahuas, Oliver. Their memories remained close to her heart throughout her life.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, December 3, 2025. Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, followed by a service at 12:00 PM. Interment will take place at Michigan Memorial Park.
