Obituary
Debra Ann Alred, born on March 3, 1955, in Wyandotte, passed away on August 21, 2025, in Flat Rock, at the age of 70.
Debra’s life was a testament to her love for nature and creativity. She found immense joy in gardening, where she cultivated not only beautiful plants but also lasting memories with those she loved. Her passion for camping allowed her to embrace the serenity of the outdoors, while her crafting skills brought joy and inspiration to many.
For a decade, Debra dedicated her time to volunteering at the Henry Ford Museum, where she cherished the opportunity to connect with people from all walks of life and share in the wonder of history and innovation.
Debra was preceded in death by her beloved parents, James and Delores. She leaves behind her devoted husband, Donald Alred, who was her steadfast partner throughout their years together. She is also survived by her siblings Terry Haidy, Timothy (Denise) Smith, Daniel (Tony) Smith, and Tracy (Nicole) Smith, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins, all of whom will deeply miss her warmth and kindness.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Cancer Foundation, in honor of Debra's memory and her enduring spirit.
