Dian L. Acord, cherished wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away on February 22, 2026, in Royal Oak, Michigan, at the age of 55. Born on August 6, 1970, in Detroit, Michigan, Dian brought light and love into the world from the moment she arrived.
Dian devoted her professional life to caring for others as a Medical Assistant, where her compassion and dedication touched countless lives. Her gentle spirit and nurturing nature made her a beloved presence among her colleagues and patients alike.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Dian had a profound love for the great outdoors. She found joy and solace in traveling up north, where she relished watching beautiful sunsets and casting her line while fishing. Walking along shorelines in search of unique rocks was a simple pleasure that brought her much happiness. Her heart was always full when spending time with her beloved "Sugar Bear," her grandson Jaxson.
For 35 wonderful years, Dian was the devoted spouse and best companion to her loving husband, Adam. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Her warmth and generosity were unmatched, and she was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word.
Dian is survived by her husband, Adam, and their children, Alyssa (Mark II) Zeigler-Acord and Brent Acord. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandson, Jaxson. She is also survived by her parents, Gregory and Marsha, her brother Jeffery (Toni) Plymale, and nieces Grace and Faith Plymale. In-laws Karl and Sharon Acord, along with her loyal furry companion, CJ Rose, also mourn her passing.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Dian's life during a visitation on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 6:30 PM, followed by a service at 6:30 PM. Her cremation will take place at "The Witness Crematory" located inside Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
Dian's radiant spirit and heartfelt kindness will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the beauty she so deeply treasured.
