Obituary
James Boyce Aldridge, born August 26, 1964, in Trenton, Michigan, passed away on October 19, 2025, in Flat Rock, Michigan, at the age of 61.
James was a devoted family man and a cherished friend. His life was characterized by his enduring dedication to his family and an infectious sense of humor that brought joy to all who knew him. James was known for his humorous nature and ability to bring laughter into any room, often lightening the mood with his goofball antics and hilarious sense of humor.
He spent many years working diligently at Continental Cafe, where he was a respected colleague and friend to many. Outside of his professional life, James was an ardent sports enthusiast, spending countless hours enjoying games. However, his greatest joy came from the precious moments shared with his beloved wife, Jennifer, and their children, Dustin and Madison.
James is preceded in death by his loving spouse, Jennifer; his parents, George and Betty; and his stepfather, Emerson Hutchison. He leaves behind his cherished children, Dustin and Madison Aldridge; his siblings, Penny Aldridge and Jonathan (Cindy) Hutchison; and several nieces and nephews who fondly remember their uncle's warmth and humor. He is also survived by his faithful grandpup, Harold, who remained a loyal companion to the end.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate James’s life during the visitation on October 26, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a service to be held at 5:30 PM, all taking place at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home. Following the services, James will be cremated at "The Witness Crematory" located inside Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
James will be remembered for his hard work, his dedication to family, and the laughter he brought into the lives of everyone he met. He will be deeply missed but eternally loved by those who were fortunate enough to know him.
