AKANS Neil E., Sr., age 76, of Monroe, August 08, 2017. Loving father of Neil Akans and Kimberley Akans. Dear grandfather of 3 and great grandfather of 2. He is also survived by his 2 sisters and 1 brother. He is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Florence Akans and his brother Donald G. Akans. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in memory of Neil Edmund Akans, Sr., to Southeastern Michigan Hospice (specify Monroe Area).
