Obituary

Regina J. Adams passed away peacefully on September 5, 2020 at her home in Woodhaven. She was born on June 3, 1944 in Berwyn, Illinois to the late John and Loretta Necefer. She later moved to Michigan, where she married her husband of 54 years, John Adams, Jr. Regina was the loving mother of Judy Adams. A dear grandmother to Chelsea Adams, and the cherished sister to Judy (The late Emerick) Butler, and Wendy (Richard) Wheeler. Sadly, she is preceded in death by her son, John Adams III and her parents John and Loretta. Regina was a graduate of Central Michigan University where she received her bachelor’s degree in education. To those that knew her, she was considered an artist and loved to bead and make jewelry. She enjoyed dancing and always had a positive outlook on life even in her final days. Inurnment will take place in Michigan Memorial Park.

Condolences

  • I met Reggie my first day at Central Michigan University, and I have looked for her holiday letter every year since. She was funny and positive and could light up a room or a whole dorm. We became sorority sisters. I attended her baby shower before her son, John, was born. I was lucky to know her. I wish comfort and peace to her family and friends. Marilyn Marilyn Jachalke
  • Rest In Peace my dear friend. I was privileged to call her one of my very best friend for 49 years. We shared so many laughs and heartbreak throughout our lives I will miss her hugs and her laughter greatly. She was a special special person. Karen
