Obituary
Susanne Lee Ash, passed away on August 23, 2026, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 87. Born on July 13, 1939, in Detroit, Michigan, Susanne was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend.
Throughout her life, Susanne found joy in the simple pleasures. She was an avid seamstress, dedicating countless hours to sewing and knitting, creating beautiful pieces that were cherished by family and friends. Her warmth extended beyond her craft; she was known for her deep love for her family and friends.
An animal lover at heart, Susanne held a special affection for all the neighborhood dogs. She could often be seen on her daily walks, armed with treats, delighting in the company of her four-legged companions.
Susanne was preceded in death by her parents, Algernon and Susan Beard, and her brother, George Beard. Her memory will be lovingly cherished by her devoted husband of 57 years, Robert Ash; her children, Dale (Amalia) Ash, and Renee Ash; her treasured grandchildren, Sophia and Nathan; and her dear nieces, Sherri, Genelle, and Melissa.
Her kind-hearted nature and unwavering love have left an indelible mark on those who had the privilege of knowing her. Susanne’s presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to guide and inspire all those she touched throughout her 87 years of life.
