Anderson, William C. (Bill), age 63, of Lincoln Park, passed away November 7, 2010. Beloved husband of Donna. Loving father of Carl (Stephanie) Anderson and Shannon Ford. Dearest grandpa of Caitlyn Pitman. Brother of Roger (Loretta) Anderson. He was preceded in death by his late wife Rose Anne Borowski, father Carl C., mother Ronnie Sauls Anderson, and sister Betty DePalma.He was a 1965 graduate of Lincoln Park High School and then joined the Army during the Vietnam era. He served with the 24th Infantry as a personnel specialist. Upon completion of his military obligation, he was employed for Brinks as a guard. Bill was a 25 year member of the American Legion. He served at Post 67 for 5 terms as Commander. He was 16th District Commander, went on to be elected to the State as Finance Officer 2004-2006, and then to the high office of State Commander 2008-2009. Bill was also a member of the 40/8 Voyager 1002.
