Obituary

Alan Christopher Bergmooser, age 58, of Romulus, MI passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, January 17, 2021. Alan was born on May 29,1962 to Alice and Richard Bergmooser. He married the woman of his dreams, Gina Maiani Bergmooser, on November 4, 1989 and had three beautiful children, Christopher, Jenna, and Alyssa. A self-made builder by profession, Alan’s craftsmanship deeply touched the community he served and was highly revered by all. He was a relentless craftsman with an unwavering, genuine and moral character that set a silent example for all who knew him. Alan loved his family as well as everything about the outdoors: hunting, snowmobiling, boating, camping, and vacationing with his family were among his favorite. Alan will be fondly remembered by the countless lives he touched and treasured dearly in the hearts of those who loved him. Alan is survived by his beloved wife, Gina; his three children, Christopher, Jenna (Dallas), and Alyssa; his siblings; Larry (Lori), Denise (Dan), Kathy, Dennis (Maria), Donna (Jim), and Janice (Jim); and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, and nieces. He was preceded in death by his mother Alice, mother-in-law Francis, sister-in-law Dawn, and brother-in-law Dan. Please come celebrate the life of Alan and share in memories with family and friends.

  • Our deepest condolence go out to Gina, Dick and the entire family. Hearing Aunt Sharon tell me of Alan's death, my mind was flooded with many memories. Alan working with his Grandpa Ed on the hog pen and butcher day at the Laprad farm, playing ball at the family reunions, fishing in Canada, replacing the kitchen floor for his Aunt Diane. and planting a old boat in his yard to make a family party special. Alan's chosen profession as an independent business man wasn't easy. But he was always busy, in the game. Uncle Doug Uncle Doug & Aunt Edmee, Mike & Wanda, John, Holly & Dan + Family Douglas Crossman

  • Dear Bergmooser Family and Friends... It is at these times we most bond the more. I pray for strength, peace, joy, and beautiful memories to flood you through the days and years to come. Alan will remain in your hearts with each passing day, to remind you of his love, faith, hope, and belief that you will carry on. He was a dedicated family man, I could tell by the twinkle in Gina's eyes when she spoke of him and her beloved children. With that being said, Alan would want you to mourn him, but not forever...remember life goes on and so does his love...Just like God, just cause we can't see Him, doesn't mean He isn't there... Alan remains in each of his children, future grandchildren, siblings, etc...watch, I promise you WILL see Alan's smile, mannerisms, and character in one another, and you will smile with the joy of knowing he still lives... God bless, Vince & Mika Phillips Mika Phillips

  • Dear Gina and the entire family, My heart goes out to you and the family for the loss of Alan. The Thomas family grew up on Barth Road and shared a bus stop with the Bergmooser kids once upon a time. I remember that I would stare at Alan and his dreamy blue eyes!!! We are sending our Love and Prayers for you and the entire family. Let your friends and family be a source of comfort and healing now. The Thomas Family, John, Joe, Jim, and Martha Martha Boyd
