  • Dear extended family, Cindy and I offer our sincere condolences on the loss of your treasured Alice. As my sister, Mary Jane (Wakeley) Schofield, has said, we were so pleased when Alice and Russ were able to join us for the Centennial Farm 100 Year Celebration in 2009. It is obvious that Alice left a loving legacy and many footprints on the hearts of her adoring family. Consider this a virtual hug to you all. ❤️ Art Wakeley

  • I got to know my first cousin Alice, rather remotely, late in both our lives. We never were able, due to ages, and geography, to spend much time together, but I fell in love with her. My brother and I really connected a bit, with her adult children, at the celebration of her twin sister’s life. They were such a closely knit group, that seemed to be enjoying each others’ company , that day, and from then on,it was a connection I wanted to encourage. I’ve come to value an Ancestry.com connection with one of Alice’s great grandsons, a delightful young man. We share information of our pioneer family and cousins. She and some of her kids, made the trip to our home place, in Grayling, for a Centennial celebration a few years ago , and that was special to all of us. She’d not been back to that place for many years and my brothers and I got to meet part of her family. We now are the only remaining survivors of this generation of the family..Please let us be connected to the Boudries... In sympathy and prayers...MaryJane Schofield... MaryJane Schofield
