- I am shocked by the news of Dave’s passing, my condolences to the entire Boyd family. I will always remember Dave as a person of good character, morals, and family. I am very sorry. Chad Dean

- As I sit here after just hearing the news I am speechless....to see him one more time, to hang out again or to say good bye...To the Boyd family, I’m sorry for your loss and you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Dave and I were close at one point, like a brother and did so much together for awhile but had grown apart over the years as we do as adults. Dave was one of my brothers that I unfortunately lost touch with over the years as life happens, but you just assume that you will see each other again until this happens. I’m so sorry.
