  • Dear Mom, Your heart gave out it was not meant to be. Now I have a hole in mine. Where do I start? Where will I stop every night on my way home from work? There was many of nights I just wanted to go straight home, but I knew how much you looked forward to my visits. Oh how mad you would make me when I would ask you what you wanted for dinner and I would get a shoulder shrug. Now what am I going to do with my extra leftovers. The times we had together sitting and watching Law and Order or NCIS. We laughed together as I showed you Face Book post and pics. You were my sounding board not always giving me the answer I wanted to hear. You taught us to treat others as we would want to be treated. Great advice but sometimes a hard lesson to follow. You were always there no matter the weather for all of my games cheering me and my team mates on. You always had Blankets, Hot Chocolate, Gum whatever any of us needed you were Mom Balogh to everyone. Growing up I hated every Sunday having to get up and go to church. Now I can see the benefit of the Love of God and the Christian Lifestyle that was instilled in us and I would not have it any other way. Thank you. I guess Mom does know best. I look forward to any Holiday I had you over for dinner to have you all to myself for the night. I could not wait to show you the new flooring I put in. I was so proud when you said you liked it and it was Beautiful. Thank you. As I held you those last few days in the hospital I assured you I would not leave you. I said the Lord's Prayer to you to bring you comfort. I told you many times over I Love you. I told you that you were my HERO. It is all these great memories I would have liked to keep making but I will forever hold them close to my heart. I am at Peace knowing Dad was there to accompany you to God's waiting arms. Go Mom be Free of pain. Be our Guardian Angel. I miss you SO much already. Love always your baby Girl Sherry DeAnn Sherry D Balogh
  • I miss the days of camping and every one trying to figure out what to make for the pot luck. The way you and Mr Balogh would have all the teenagers around your campfire and cook stores or hobo pies. I miss these days alot! Rest in Peace and enjoy the camping get together in heaven with the rest of the chapter members. Belinda Sparks
  • Grandma, where do I start? You spoiled me from day one and never stopped. We always had a special bond that no one understood. Spending summers with you was always a fond memory I will cherish. You loved taking me to Toys R Us and the local grocery store to buy snacks for after dinner. On Saturday nights you would wrap my hair in brown paper bag strips and in the morning when you took them out I would have curls to wear to church. You would make me cheese and miracle whip sandwiches for lunch and fried perch and home made french fries for dinner. When we went camping we would go fishing in Grandpa's boat, ride our bikes around the campground chatting with your friends, and sit around the camp fire telling stories. When I got older I brought my friends and you welcomed them and told stories. We loved eating sugar popcorn together while watching the Pistons, MASH, or Law and Order. During the holidays I couldn't wait to grow up so I could sit with you at the adult table and play games. You loved playing dominoes and card games and you loved winning even more. When we bought our house in Midland you always stopped by after going to the Casino. You would tell us you lost but i knew better. You were lucky and so was I. I was lucky enough to call you Grandma. I will miss you Grandma. I have so many great memories of us and I am forever grateful for the time we had together on earth. Until we meet again! Enjoy fishing and the casino with Grandpa. I love you always!! Jody Haynes
