- Our heartfelt condolences go out to the family of Mr Ernie Brewer. He was a great and helpful neighbor and friend. We will miss him. Ernie worked with my father at Mclouth. He told me some funny stories about that after my own father died many years ago. What a wonderful full life of love, family and adventure memories he leaves behind. Sharon and Scott Dettloff Sharon Dettloff
- I recall Ernie and me walking the assembly line inside the plant that he worked. He took the time to walk the entire line with me. I was new (mid-1970s) in steel construction and Ernie worked in a steel fabrication factory. (I went on to spend 35 years is the steel construction business.) I found that plant walk with Uncle Ernie to be very interesting. From that point forward I had a greater view of the grand picture of things in the industry and where I fit into it. I was labor union represented manual laborer - that's all. How Ernie tolerated the noise and dirt for so long inside that factory I do not know - except that, like me, he had a family to feed and bills to pay. I have a neighbor here in CA, a young man with a wife and kids, who reminds me of Ernie (Both U.S. Marine Corps? Is that why?). Mike Ladouce
