BAKER, Granville R., age 96, of Trenton, October 23, 2021. Loving father of Dave (Rose) Baker. Dearest grandfather of Molly (Craig) Berner and Joe (Brianne) Baker and great-grandfather of 4. Granville proudly served in the U.S. Navy in WWII. He was a charter member of the Elks. His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home,

Dear Dave and Rose, On behalf of the Metzger family I want to send our sympathy for your dad's passing. We would always see him at St. Mary's morning Mass, back with Ron, the 2 old men. They would go over to school and join in the functions there and were always invited when there were refreshments after Mass. They really enjoyed speaking with the staff and kids and were very generous to the school. Your dad always seemed quiet but had a little smile on his face. Growing up in Rockwood, we all knew one another so you couldn't get away with anything since the parents knew us also.
