Borne, Herbert R., age 82, of Lincoln Park. Beloved husband of Helen. Loving father of Karen (Mark) Simon, Kathryn (Steve) Pfaffenberger, Susan (Gary) Wachler, Thomas (Loretta) Borne, Marcy (Joe) Youngs. Dearest grandfather of Kerri (T.J.), Amy, Aaron (Bridget), Lisa, Eric and David. Dear brother of Charlotte. “Bones” was loved by all. He was preceded in death by his parents, William and Sarah Borne and his brothers, Raymond, Harold and William. Mr. Borne was a World War II veteran, a retired Lincoln Park firefighter of 28 years and a bricklayer for 50 years. He was an avid Detroit sports fan.
