Obituary
Jeffrey "Jeff" Belknap, born on November 16, 1971, in Trenton, Michigan, passed away on April 12, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was 52 years old.
Jeff was a man of deep faith and strong character, whose life was shaped by his dedication to both his family and his work. Raised in the heart of Michigan, Jeff shared a close bond with his father, Scott Belknap, with whom he later opened a drycleaning business that became known for its careful handling of judges’ robes, police uniforms and their mobile services. Before venturing into this family business, Jeff spent many years working in the bustling pawn industry and various casinos in Las Vegas, where he made countless friends and left a lasting impression on those who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Linda Lou (Heyde) Belknap, his brother, Scott Belknap IV; and Jeff leaves behind a family that was the center of his world. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kimberly Belknap, as well as Kelise Belknap and Keion Chapman. His memory will also be carried on by his father, Scott Belknap III, and his sister, Jennifer Sanchez, along with her husband Gregory Sr.; Jeff's nephew, Gregory Sanchez Jr., and his wife Raquita, will fondly remember their uncle for his warmth and humor.
A memorial visitation will take place on Saturday, May 31, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will follow in Michigan Memorial Park, where Jeff will be laid to rest.
In this time of sorrow, Jeff’s family and friends find solace in the legacy of love and integrity he leaves behind. Though he has departed from this earthly realm, his spirit and the lessons he imparted will remain with those who were fortunate enough to know him.
