John Joseph Breen was born October 26, 1939 to Francis and Ruth Breen in Detroit, Michigan and was educated in the Catholic school system. Since childhood John displayed an extremely strong work ethic. As result of this, John became a business owner at a young age after purchasing Motor City Industries where he worked until his retirement. John lived life to the fullest and during his journey he enjoyed camping, dancing, working on cars, woodworking, and listening to music. After his retirement John found enjoyment having garage sales and socializing with friends at the Democratic Club of Taylor where he was a member. Even with many hobbies, the most important thing to John was his family. The love of his life Betty whom he was married to for 42 years preceded him in death. Both of John’s parents and siblings: Ruth, Frank “Bud” and Donald also preceded him in death. John leaves to cherish in his memory the other love of his life, his daughter Jennifer, son-in-law Martinez, four grandchildren Madison, Marty, Malia and Maya: one sister-in-law Sandra Roper and one brother-in-law Melvin Lynn Littrell, his lifelong friend Chuck and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
