Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Knox Leone Brown, who left this world on January 29, 2026, in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He was born on August 16, 2023, in Dearborn, Michigan, and touched the lives of all who knew him during his brief time on earth. Knox was 2 years old.

Knox brought immense joy and love to his family, always brightening their days with his smile and spirit. Though his time with us was far too short, he will forever remain in the hearts of those who cherished him.

He is survived by his loving parents, Lauren Waun and Jamil Brown; his brother, Onyx Brown; his grandparents, Kristy Johnson, Gary (Candice) Waun, and Angela Marshall; his aunts and uncles, Michelle Alghoul, Matt Waun, Kevin Johnson, Landyn Johnson, and Shealyn Johnson; along with an extended family who adored him deeply.

Condolences

  • Dear Lauren, my heart breaks for you, and there are no words strong enough to ease the pain of losing your sweet little boy. Please know that I am holding you close in my thoughts and prayers. Your son brought so much light and love in the short time he was here, and he will always be remembered with warmth, joy, and tenderness. His memory will forever be a precious part of our family. If you need anything—someone to sit with you, to listen, or just to help you breathe through the hardest moments—I am here for you, today and always. Please allow yourself grace as you move through this unimaginable loss. You are not alone, Lauren, and you are deeply loved. Candace Higgins
  • Angela I'm so sorry to hear about this. I know you know what Jehovah has in store for this baby, when you see him again there will be no memory of sickness and pain. I love ❤️ you Sis, Kim Kim Hunter
  • Angela, so sorry for your loss. My condolences go out to you and the family know that it pains me to see grandmother and mother and father and grandparents and friends to bury a child when the children are supposed to bury the parents. It’s not God‘s plan at all and soon we’ll be able to see him in paradise. Meditate on the wonderful memories you had of your grandchild and stay focused. My God‘s promise that he’ll resurrect him and all those in the memorial tomb for life everlasting sincerely Donna Arnett- Bryant. 9a2k6
  • We were so sorry to hear of your loss...what a precious privilege we have been given by our God Jehovah to love deeply our children, our family. This was never His design to lose those whom we love. Soon things will be put back in alignment with His purpose for all of us..He created us out of love, to love and be loved under perfect conditions...when our loved ones awaken from this sleep of death all things will be made new. Rev 21:4 " no more pain, death or sorrow" a beautiful world, paradise awaits us. Our thoughts and prayers will be with you Angela, our sister as well as your entire family. Love you... John & Lori Foster Dear Brown Family,
