Obituary

BOWER, Mary K., age 79, of Canton, August 17, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Lawrence Louis Bower. Mary is a loving Aunt to many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her sisters, Janet Broder and family, Lois White and family and sister-in-law Joan Bower and family and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Bernice Rowan and her brother, Daniel Rowan.

Condolences

I liked Mary from the first time Larry brought her to our home. They were just dating but we managed to spend a lot of time together. After their marriage we went on several vacations together snowmobiling in the winter and dune buggy rides in the summer. I am only sorry we drifted apart when i moved to Fl and I only saw them at my son's wedding many years ago. Larry and my former husband, now deceased were first cousins.We all use to go up to another cousin's place Harold And Ruthie's who owned a bar and steakhouse in South Branch. Mary was always beyond one of the nicest people I ever met very quite, but always a good sport and fun. How she remained a lady with some of our crazy antics going on but, that she was. I loved her and Larry and am so very sorry to read of her death. God got a good one for sure. Rest in eternal peace Mary. Mickey Reno
