Obituary
Mildred Marie Bargerstock, age 94, of Monroe, Michigan, passed away on September 21, 2024. She was born on September 18, 1930, in Gainesboro, Tennessee, to Claud and Cora.
Mildred was a dedicated seamstress by trade and spent countless hours perfecting her craft, creating various beautiful pieces. Her true joy, however, was spending time with her beloved children and grandchildren. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family gatherings.
She is preceded in death by her spouse, Ronald Bargerstock; her sons, Stephen, Ronald, and Roger Haney; her parents, Claud and Cora; and her brother, Bobby Stewart.
Mildred is survived by her loving daughters, Janet (Homero) Del Toro, Joan (Donald) McCormick, Sherry Bommarito, and Lisa (Neil) Grimm. She also leaves behind multiple cherished grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. Additionally, she is survived by her brother, Joe (Peggy) Young, and many dear friends who will remember her fondly.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, with a service at 6:00 PM.
Mildred will be remembered for her kind heart, her dedication to her family, and her talent as a seamstress. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In lieu of flowers, Mildred had a love for plants, so therefore, the family is requesting only plants be sent if you choose.
