Obituary
Nancy E. Becker was born on November 20, 1940, in Detroit, Michigan, and passed away on September 28, 2025, in Riverview, Michigan, at the age of 84.
Nancy dedicated her life to her family and community. As a beautician, she brought joy and confidence to her clients, using her skills to touch many lives. Beyond her professional life, Nancy was deeply devoted to her faith, actively participating in her church, Beacon Baptist, where she found solace and strength.
Known for her vibrant spirit and gentle kindness, Nancy loved to shop and had an eye for beauty in all things, particularly butterflies, which she adored. Her greatest joy, however, was spending time with her beloved grandsons, Gabriel and Jacob Becker, who brought immense happiness to her days.
Nancy was preceded in death by her loving parents, William and Mildred, as well as her sisters, Lillian Beavers and Carol Forbes-Petrove. She is survived by her devoted son, Gordon Becker, and his wife Tammy, who will forever cherish her memory. She is also lovingly remembered by her grandsons, Gabriel and Jacob, her brother, William "Bill" Barker, and his wife Vanyce Hoyas-Barker. Her sister-in-law, Linda Barker, and brother-in-law, Garland Beavers, along with several nieces and nephews, will hold her memory close to their hearts.
Nancy's warmth, generosity, and unwavering love have left an indelible mark on all who knew her. She will be dearly missed but fondly remembered by her family, friends, and all whose lives she touched.
