Obituary

BAJEK, Nellie, age 101, of Dearborn, August 19, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Edward Bajek. Loving mother of Edward G. (Janice) Bajek, Mary Ann (John) Tracey and Robert J. (Connie) Bajek. Dearest grandmother of Sarah (Khris) Perry, Eddie Bajek, Lauren (Matt) Sadaj, David (Monica) Bajek, Holly (Nick Baker) Tracey, Max Bajek and great grandmother of Josie, Barrett, Jack, Spencer and Henry. She is also survived by her sister Jane Hall. Nellie enjoyed gardening, cooking, canning, sewing and helping others. She belonged to Mother’s Guild at St. Stephen’s. She is preceded in death by her grandchild Anna Bajek, parents Stanley and Victoria Nowotarski. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Make a Wish Foundation in honor of her granddaughter Anna.

Condolences

Nellie was the glue that held together a wonderful group at Henry Ford Village. She made each of their days and each of their lives better. She brought a smile to your face every time you were with her. Nellie showed us all how best to live life. Bill Volz
Our entire Kramer family had the privilege of knowing Nellie as part of the Catholic crowd our mother Solina happily belonged to during her 10 years at Henry Ford Village. We all learned so much from This Greatest Generation of women who lived their faith and had FUN with the simplest pleasures. Nellie was a joy. She was devoted to family and very "tech-savvy" in using her computer to keep up and proudly show us photographs of weddings and other family occasions. We will keep her in our hearts...along with our own amazing Mom. Mary Kramer
