Obituary
Patricia Caroline Beres affectionately known as Patti, passed away on April 15, 2026, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 84. Born on November 14, 1941, in Detroit, Michigan, Patti lived a life filled with love, adventure, and devotion to her family and passions.
Patti's career was spent in the medical billing field, where she worked diligently for a cardiologist as well as at Winter Haven Hospital, known to her as "The Big Hospital," in Winter Haven, Florida. Her dedication to her work was matched only by her love for her family and her many interests.
A proud bearer of her Polish heritage, Patti found joy in cooking and exploring Polish cuisine at local restaurants. She was an avid foodie who loved discovering new flavors, and she enjoyed sharing meals with family and friends. Her hands were rarely idle, as she spent many hours crocheting beautiful works of art. Patti also cherished visiting the theater, traveling to new places, and the simple pleasures of everyday life.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Kimberly Beres and Colleen (Robert) LaBelle; her cherished grandson, Corey (Sara); and her great-grandchildren, Asher and Arya, who lovingly called her Gigi. Patti was the oldest sibling of 5 and is survived by her siblings, Rita (the late Ben) and Vincent (Kathy) Jr., and she leaves behind several nieces and nephews who will fondly remember her warmth and kindness.
Patti was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Eugene Holinoty; as well as Kimberly and Colleen’s father, Donald Beres. Her parents, Vincent and Irene; her grandsons, Ali'i and Adam; her sister, Mary (Ralph); and her brother, Chris (Charlene).
Her cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory”, located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, with an inurnment to follow in Michigan Memorial Park. May Patti's spirit and love continue to be felt by all those who knew her.
Patricia's family has requested that no flowers be sent to the funeral home for the visitation.
