Obituary

Patsy Ann Baugh, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, passed away peacefully on September 4, 2026, in Flat Rock, Michigan. She was born on May 26, 1949, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and lived a fulfilling life of 77 years.

Patsy had a passion for reading and shopping, pursuits that brought her joy and relaxation throughout her life. Her love for books transported her to countless worlds beyond her own, while her enjoyment of shopping was an expression of her appreciation for beauty and style. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and was always willing to care for and help others, sharing her kindness and compassion with those around her.

She was preceded in death by her dear husband, Frederick Baugh; her sister, Carolyn Zmijewski (Stan); and her parents, Pauline and Seth Hartwick.

Patsy's legacy lives on through her loving children, Lisa (Paul) Tyler, Carri (Stanley) Dyl, and Billy Baugh. She was the cherished grandmother of Matthew (Krystal) Tyler, Cati (Dustin) Kohlman, Lauryn (Brad) Spears, Shawn (Sarah) Dyl, Steffen Dyl, Joshua Dyl, and Ethan Baugh. Her great-grandchildren, Prezley, Brantley, Mila, Finnley, and Ripley, who is soon to join the family, were her pride and joy.

She will be missed by her siblings, William (Phyllis) Hartwick and Paulette Pasek, along with numerous friends and extended family members who were touched by her kindness and warmth.

Patsy's family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her. Her memory will forever be treasured by all who knew her.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
