Condolences
- Dear Mike, So very sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Bobby. Although I never got the chance to meet him, your stories have allowed a glimpse into his life. My deepest sympathies to his wife and daughters. May Bobby’s lasting courage be a source of strength for you and the entire Bernas Family as you grieve together. Take comfort that he is at peace with your dad and that their loving memories will always be with you all. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. Kevin LaBrecque
- I can imagine most people's first Experience with Uncle Bob was probably a firm hand shake or a warm hello, but for me it was a big hug. Yep a big bear hug! Dating and later marrying his Goddaughter Jessalynn back in 07' it was my first time meeting the Bernas side of the family ... nervous as you can imagine, I only heard stories of the Bernas men and how they love to give "newbies" a hard time LOL. So there I was terrified walking up the steps of Grandma's house getting ready and unsure for what was about to happen. Apparently someone had told everyone that the Suda family are big huggers (which we are) so as they opened the door and I entered the house every single Bernas man in the family had gotten in line and I had to give each of them a big hug as I entered the house. Last at the end of the line was of course Uncle Bob, and he gave me a big laughing hug and every time I saw him after that he would chuckle and ask me if I wanted my hug LOL. I am happy I got to know him, his sense of humor, and his ability to put a nervous kid at ease. My deepest condolences to Luann, Lauren, and Stephanie. Steve Suda
- Aunt Luann, Stephanie and Lauren: I'm just so sorry for your monumental loss. My Uncle Bob was also my godfather. When I was a baby he got me this tiny gold ring that says "Jessalynn" all the way around it (large feat for such a tiny ring). It has my birthstone on it as well and a tiny little heart charm. I've always worn it often because it's beautiful but it means a bit more to me these days. Aunt Luann, I often wonder if you picked it out lol. It's beautiful. Every Christmas Uncle Bob and Aunt Luann made me feel so special as a god daughter. I was so excited to go to grandma's and see what cool present you had for me. One included my first perfume set. I could go on and on... I wrote a letter to Uncle Bob when I was a bit older. I really hope it's still floating around somewhere. Or at least was in his heart. I love you guys and I'm just so sorry for all of this. Life sure isn't fair sometimes. Jessalynn Suda
- My deepest condolences to Luann and my two nieces, Stephanie and Lauren. No man was loved more by his family! I treasure the time I had growing up with my biggest brother. He had a heart of gold and always looked after his youngest brother. I treasure every moment we had together and will miss him forever. I love you Bobby. Mike Bernas

- Dear Bernas Family, I would like to extend my sincere sympathies to your family on the loss of Bob. I will always remember Bob with a smile on his face and a kind word, or funny quip. While he was taken from you way too young, he has gone to join his Dad, and may you find peace in this time of sorrow. Chris & April Grieves Saginaw, Texas Chris Grieves
