Obituary

Roman Alexander Bryant, beloved son of Taylor and Nathan Bryant, twin brother of Moana Bryant, grandson of Kathleen Southerland, Johnnye  Siguenza, Carl Southerland and Andrew Bryant, tragically passed away on June 26, 2023, in Belleville, MI, at a tender age of 1. Roman was born on May 30, 2022, in Ypsilanti, MI, and brought immense joy into the lives of his family and friends during his short time with us.

Roman was an exceptionally handsome  baby with captivating eyes that could mesmerize anyone who met him. His smile, which lit up the world was a true reflection of the joy that radiated from within him. Roman was a brave little man who was never afraid of the dark and found delight in exploring the world around him.

Roman shared a special bond with his twin sister, Moana, and they loved spending time together. They would dance, play and laugh, bringing endless happiness to those around them. Roman’s favorite YouTube channels, Ms. Rachel and Gracie’s Corner, were a source of entertainment and inspiration for him. He would joyfully watch their videos, immersing himself in the wonderful world they created.

One of Roman’s fondest memories was enjoying his first and favorite food, bananas, lovingly fed to him by his mommy. He would stand on the rocking chair, dance, and laugh with his sister, creating precious moments that will forever be cherished. Roman also found great joy in playing in the water and taking baths, especially when his daddy was there to make it even more fun. Roman had a special connection with nature. He would spend peaceful moments with his grandmother on the porch, feeding the birds and listening to their beautiful songs.

Roman will be deeply missed by his loving family, including his parents, twin sister, grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. His memory will forever be etched in their minds and hearts, and his spirit will continue to live on through their cherished memories.

A visitation to honor and remember Roman will take place on Friday, July 7, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Michigan Memorial Funeral Home, located at 30895 W. Huron River Dr., Flat Rock, MI 48134. A service to celebrate Roman’s life will be held on Saturday, July 8, 2023, at 11:00 AM. Interment will take place directly after the service. The family has asked for attendees to wear lighter Spring colors to honor Roman’s life.

Roman Alexander Bryant brought immense joy and love to all who knew him. Though his time on earth was tragically short, his impact will forever be felt. May his beautiful spirit rest in eternal peace.
