Obituary

Ryan Robert Brewer, of Garden City, Michigan, passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 39. Born on October 7, 1985, in Dearborn, Michigan, Ryan lived a life full of adventure and spontaneity, cherished by family and friends alike.

Ryan was a devoted husband to Rachel Brewer, with whom he shared a loving marriage since 2007. Together, they nurtured a beautiful family, including their children: Ryan Robert Brewer Jr., Christian Caleb Brewer, and Layla May Brewer. He also leaves behind his beloved sister, Amy Brewer, along with cherished sisters-in-law Donnell Cook, Jolene Wagganer, and Sarah Wagganer.

Known for his adventurous spirit and love of road trips, Ryan was always ready for spontaneous adventures, often with his nieces and nephews, for whom he stepped up as a father figure. His fun-loving nature made him the "fun uncle" everyone adored. A passionate gamer, he enjoyed playing Call of Duty, sharing laughter and friendly competition with his loved ones.

Ryan's enthusiasm for life was contagious. He recently fulfilled a dream by purchasing a camper, eagerly anticipating future camping trips surrounded by nature and family. As a natural herbalist, he found joy in exploring the healing power of herbs, always willing to help others with his knowledge and generosity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry and Pamela Brewer, who undoubtedly instilled in him the values of kindness and hard work that he carried throughout his life.

Ryan will be deeply missed by his family, including many nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of friends. His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him, forever remembered for his willingness to lend a hand, his adventurous outlook on life, and the love he shared so freely.

His cremation will take place at “The Witness Crematory” located inside of Michigan Memorial Funeral Home.
