Obituary
In loving memory of a one-of-a-kind man whose life was nothing short of extraordinary. For over 30 years, he and his beloved wife, Janet, built an empire—both in business and in love. She was his partner in every sense, his confidante, and the love of his life.
His passion for NASCAR was legendary, but his dedication to helping others was even more remarkable. Whether sponsoring youth programs, lending a hand to start-up businesses, or simply offering a helping hand, he made a lasting difference in the lives of so many, never asking for anything in return.
His heart was always with his family. He cherished his late daughter, Nancy, and held his younger brothers Bob and Chuck close in his heart, even naming one of his businesses after Bob. Bob, his childhood partner in mischief, was his other half, and their bond was irreplaceable. Now, they are reunited, brothers once again.
He was also a devoted “furdaddy” to his adorable newborn Shih Tzus but also to his furpartner Lolah…where you find dad, you find his Lolah. He was happy that he was given the opportunity to embraced the role of a father figure to his niece, Natalie, whom he had only reconnected with a few years ago. He was “DADDY” to many and loved each and every one as if they were his own.
We’ll always remember his grit, his generosity, and his signature sign-off: “That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it.”
