CATELLA, Antonio, age 93, of Canton., August 08, 2021. Beloved husband of the late Domenica (Donna) Catella. Loving father of Maria (Allen) Clark and Victor (Dorothy) Catella. Dearest grandfather of Shelby (Alex), Dana (Adam), Victoria, Sophia and Francesca and great-grandfather of Lily, Maeve and Thoreau. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Vittorio and Maria Catella, 3 brothers and 2 sisters. Antonio was born in Loseto, Puglia, Italy on April 3, 1928. While in Italy he was a dedicated Carabinieri (state officer). After moving to the United States, he married the love of his life, Domenica, in 1956. He worked as a model maker in the automotive industry and volunteered at the Pensacola Police Department in FL. Antonio was a devoted father to his children, coaching the Allen Park little league baseball team, and spent much time with his granddaughters who were his pride and joy. Antonio will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Private immediate family services to be held. Entombment in Michigan Memorial Park.
