Barbara Jean Cary, born on April 10, 1943, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on July 30, 2026, in Canton, Michigan, at the age of 83.
A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, Barbara dedicated her life to her family and community. She was a loving homemaker whose warmth and kindness touched everyone she met. For over 30 years, she generously volunteered her time with the Red Cross at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills, embodying a spirit of compassion and selflessness.
Barbara found joy in the simple pleasures of life, including her love for bowling, which she enjoyed with friends and family over the years.
She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Mabel and Elmer Lewis, and her dear brother, Errol Lewis. Her memory will be cherished by her devoted husband, Bill Cary, and their children, Susan (JR) Rickert and Jennifer (Alex) Ealovega. She also leaves behind four grandchildren, Jessica (Gabe) Shotts, Max Temple, Eric Ealovega and Alison Ealovega.
Barbara’s gentle spirit, dedication to service, and unwavering love for her family will be remembered and treasured by all who knew her.
