Janie Marie Carlson, a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away on November 5, 2025, in Trenton, Michigan, at the age of 65. Born on February 29, 1960, in Dearborn, Michigan, Janie's life was a testament to love, devotion, and family.
Janie was a devoted wife to her beloved husband, Chris Carlson, and together they built a family filled with love and warmth. As a mother, she was an unwavering source of support and guidance to her children, Tricia Carlson and Chris (Lerma) Carlson, who will forever hold her dearly in their hearts. Her nurturing spirit extended to her grandchild, Christopher Carlson III, who brought immense joy to her later years.
Janie is lovingly remembered by her surviving mother, Patricia (Vito) Marinello, whose wisdom and strength were foundational in Janie's life. She leaves behind her siblings, Trish (Chris) Matthews, Shellie Patton, and Frank (Paula) Kortas, who will always cherish the memories and bonds they shared. Janie was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews, offering them her kindness and affection throughout her life.
She is reunited with her grandmother Jane Fitzpatrick.
