Obituary

Carole J. Cholasta, born on July 3, 1941, in Rossford, Ohio, passed away on October 28, 2024, in Miami, Florida, at the age of 83.

Carole was a dedicated and accomplished professional, spending 25 years in Manhattan, New York, where she worked as Vice President at CitiBank. Her career was marked by her strong work ethic and dedication to excellence. After her illustrious career in New York, she spent her final years in her career in Miami, where she continued to enrich the lives of those around her.

Beyond her professional achievements, Carole was a vibrant and compassionate individual who found great joy in volunteering at the Miami Zoo. She was an active volunteer member, organizing numerous events and bringing delight to the children who visited. Her love for animals was evident, and she cherished every moment spent in their presence. Carole's philanthropic spirit extended to her involvement with Love In Action, where she worked tirelessly to help those in need.

A proud member of Killian Pines United Methodist Church, Carole was known for her warmth and kindness, always looking out for the well-being of others. Her gentle nature and generous heart touched everyone she encountered. At home, she found companionship and joy with her beloved feathered friend, Corky.

Carole had an adventurous spirit, with a passion for travel that took her around the world. Despite her travels, she made it a point to visit New York City annually, maintaining close bonds with her dear friends.

Carole was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Anita, and her brother, Robert A. Junker. She leaves behind several dearest cousins and many cherished friends who will deeply miss her presence.

Interment will take place in Michigan Memorial Park, where Carole will be laid to rest, surrounded by the love and memories of those who knew her. Her legacy of kindness and compassion will forever remain in the hearts of those she touched.
