Obituary

CIURAY, Caroline K., age 72, of Carleton, passed away peacefully with family by her side at Ebide Hospice Residence in Sylvania, Ohio on February 21, 2018, after a short illness. Beloved wife of Ron Ciuray, of 53 years. Loving mother of Rhonda (William) Wright of Monroe, William (Carol) Ciuray of Carleton and Larry (Lisa) Ciuray, Missouri City, TX. Dearest grandmother of Brooklyn, Madyson and William Ciuray; Rodney, Josie (Darrell) and Abby Summers and Logan Ciuray and great-grandmother of Makylee, Avery and Cody Summers. She is survived by her siblings Jim (Jackie) Harris, Betty Bomia, Barbara (Frank) Draganic, Patricia Wilson, Charles (Juanita) Harris and Marilyn (James) Prince. She was preceded in death by her parents. Born Carolyn Harris on June 01,1945 to James and Mildred (Tuller) Harris in Monroe, Michigan. She was in the first graduating class of the new Jefferson High School building in 1963. She married Ronald Ciuray at St. Anne Catholic Church in Monroe on August 22, 1964. She was employed at K-mart in Flat Rock and then retired from Schafer Agency of Carleton in 2012. She enjoyed going to garage sales, reading, watching Detroit Tiger games on summer evenings, spending time with her grandchildren, and taking long drives on Austin Road in Saline.
