COX, Sr., Charles D., passed on August 25, 2023. Beloved husband of Peggy Cox. Loving father of Lori (Bill) Heckman. Devoted grandfather of Allie Heckman and Livvie Heckman. He is also survived by his siblings, Albert Cox, Ada Wooten, and Patricia Faulkner. Charles was preceded in death by his son, Charles Douglas Cox, Jr., his daughter, Donna Kay Cox, his mother, Nettie Baker, his father, Lonnie Cox, his sisters, Doris Kontos and Betty Trammell, and his brother, Harold Cox.
