CHALMERS, Christopher A., age 66, of Brownstown, July 6, 2014. Beloved husband of Kathleen Chalmers. Loving father of the late Brian (Porsha) Chalmers and Christine (Calvin) Burget . Dearest grandfather of Matthew, Judith, Amber, Courtney, Brandon, and great grandfather of Gavin and Ryan. He is also survived by his sisters Mary (Richard) Gilbert, Beth (the late Michael) Thibault and his brother Robert (Patricia) Chalmers. He is preceded in death by his parents David and Betty Chalmers and his brothers Mark, Jack, and David. Interment in Michigan Memorial Park. Christopher retired from Ford Motor Company after 30 years of employment. He was also a volunteer firefighter with the Brownstown Fire Dept. His hobbies were woodworking and he was an avid shooter with the Taylor Pistol Club.
