Obituary

CAUDILL, Cleta R., age 86, of Lincoln Park, November 08, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Fhirow Caudill. Loving mother of Susan (Donald) Kish and Jeff Caudill. Dearest grandmother of Jacob (Jenay) Kish, Regina (Troy) James, Samantha (Brittney) Kish, Ryan (Savannah) Caudill and Justen Caudill. Dear great grandmother of 10. She is also survived by her brother Ralph (Jan) Mitchell and daughter-in-law Jolene Caudill. She is preceded in death by her son David Caudill, parents Ellis and Myrtle Mitchell and 3 brothers. Mrs. Caudill belonged to the House of David Old Regular Baptist Church where she was baptized. Cleta loved singing gospel music and would travel for two hours with her family to their beloved church in Imlay City each week, returning home to Lincoln Park around 4:00 PM and would look forward to the trip again the following Sunday. She instilled a love of God into her family.Cleta was born and raised in Kentucky and moved to Lincoln Park, Michigan in her early twenties with her husband where they raised their family. She was very passionate about her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and attended every sporting event throughout the athletic seasons. Her yard with the flower and vegetable gardens was her passion, and was the envy of friends and neighbors. Mrs. Caudill retired from General Motors. Everyone who knew her loved her, and she had a Heart of Gold.
