*In Loving Memory of Dawn Renee' Czerwonka*
November 25, 1967 - August 7, 2024
Dawn Renee' Czerwonka, a beacon of joy and a lover of all things bright, passed away peacefully in Romulus, Michigan, on August 7, 2024, at the age of 56. Born on November 25, 1967, in Detroit, Michigan, Dawn's life was a vibrant tapestry woven with sunshine, adventure, and endless love.
Dawn's spirit was as radiant as her favorite color, yellow. She thrived in the outdoors, soaking up the warmth of the sun and reveling in the beauty of her beloved sunflowers. Her fearless nature saw her conquering rollercoasters, ziplining through treetops, and navigating waters on her boat, always chasing the next thrill with boundless enthusiasm. An embodiment of fearlessness, Dawn embraced every moment with an adrenaline-fueled zest for life.
Christmas was a magical time for Dawn, who truly embodied the spirit of Mrs. Claus. Her home was a wonderland of festive cheer, a testament to her obsession with the holiday that brought so much joy to her heart and those around her.
Dawn's compassionate heart extended to all creatures great and small. A dedicated animal lover, she nursed baby birds back to health and shared her home with her cherished furbabies, Daisy and Sookie. Her travels with her husband Michael took her to the stunning landscapes of Colorado, the sun-soaked beaches of Mexico and Florida, and the tropical paradise of Jamaica – each destination a chapter in their shared story of love and adventure.
Preceded in death by her parents, David and Karen Brothers, and her grandparents, Elizabeth Fortune, James Fortune, Roy Brothers, and Mary Brothers, Dawn leaves behind a family who will forever treasure her memory. She is survived by her devoted husband of 20 years, Michael Czerwonka, her loving daughters Heather (Jeremy) Haupt, Victoria (Brandon Cooke) McIntosh, and Tanya Pashenee, along with her adored grandchildren Kylie, Mason, Hazel, Wade, and Finn. Her siblings George (Geraldine) Barton, Robert (Jerralyn) Barton, and Virginia "Sis" (Barry) McLachlan, will also carry her legacy forward.
Dawn's life was a testament to living fully and embracing each moment with passion and love. As we reflect on her journey, we are reminded of the brightness she brought into our lives and the indelible mark she left on our hearts. Dawn Renee' Czerwonka will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to inspire us all. "And these are the days of our lives."
